When people are tossing about baby names you always associate the name with someone you already know or a celebrity of the same name. That often brings up funny reactions.

Personally I think you need to take the name away and try it out for a few days in your own head, you'ld be surprised what would grow on you.

The trends in baby names are remarkable too, what comes in and goes out of fashion, my own name which is not old fashioned nor 'wacky' hardly features in any of the recent year's favourite lists.

George: Throwing up would definitely get you point across! LOL! I see people make rude faces/comments all of the time about unborn baby names. Here is what is weird... I got tons of these rude reactions before he was born, but once he was born and there is now a face to go with the name, everyone thinks it is "sooooo cuuuute". I guess it is only OK to make fun of a persons name if they haven't entered this world yet... :)

It is annoying when people give you strange looks for your baby's name. We get looks for naming our son, Scott. I'm going to throw up when they give me their kid's name.
